| | Benchmark #2. Automotive Underbody Cross Member PanelThe focus of the application will be the accurate prediction of springback in forming processes where bending effects play a dominant role. IGES files for the surface geometry and documents specifying the processing conditions will be provided. Strain and springback measurements at predefined cross-sections will be provided at the conference using an aluminum and several HS steel alloys. This benchmark is provided by DaimlerChrysler Corporation, Chrysler Group in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
