Edison at Work

See the great inventor's Menlo Park complex at the moment when his development of the incandescent lightbulb was about to transform the world. You will see the actual workplaces that gave birth to Edison's extraordinary innovations, and the first buildings to be illuminated by his amazing electric light.
 

Liberty Craftworks

The rush of the mill pond draws you in as the sounds and motion of early American manufacturing surround you. Skilled artisans practice authentic period crafts and trades, making a variety of products from dishes and glassware to textiles.
 

Railroad Junction

Our operating steam-powered rail line and an 1800s small-town train depot take you inside the great history of railroading, paired with the chance to investigate the only working late 19th-century roundhouse in the Midwest.
